Bridge of Peace

Sunset glass arch over Mtkvari River

Bridge of Peace

The Bridge of Peace spans the Mtkvari River in the heart of Tbilisi, a striking modern structure completed in 2010 as a symbol of unity and renewal. Made of glass and steel, its arched silhouette glows with dynamic LED lights at night, contrasting with the ancient city's cobblestone streets and historic architecture. More than just a crossing, it connects the old town with the newer Rike district, embodying Georgia’s journey between tradition and progress. It’s worth the journey for the panoramic views of Narikala Fortress, the river, and the cityscape, especially at dusk when the bridge comes alive in color.
